Dr. Christopher Appleton is a Cardiovascular Physician and Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic Health System. He is board certified in Echocardiography, Cardiovascular Diseases and Internal Medicine. His research interests are hypertensive heart disease, diastolic dysfunction, pericardial disease, valvular heart disease, hypertrophic and restrictive cardiomyopathies.
Dr. Appleton received a medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine and served as a Fellow at the Cardiology Division of Stanford University. He has been honored by his peers among the Best Doctors of America and as Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science’ Educator of the Year.
