Mirja supervises brand strategy, research, and client service at RIESTER Rx. Mirja’s experience is international and spans across many areas of health and wellness leading to exceptional contributions for clients in the healthcare sector. This has included creation and implementation of national market-shaping, disease awareness campaigns for pharmaceutical companies, such as; new HIV/Aids treatment protocols for Gilead Sciences, and the launch of a breakthrough Sickle Cell Disease treatment for Global Blood Therapeutics. Mirja strategically led many of the nation’s most successful opioid, methamphetamine and tobacco awareness, prevention, and cessation campaigns for various state public health departments and has also worked as a marketing consultant for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the National Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Mirja earned a German degree (Dipl.-Kff.) equivalent to a master’s degree from the University of Hamburg and a German degree (Werbekauffrau) equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from the Communications College in Hamburg. In 2016, The American Advertising Federation honored Mirja as “Ad Person of the Year” and the American Business Journals honored her among the “Most Influential Women in Business.”
